Dr. Shari’s most intense and largest research project has come to an end: her dissertation.  This completed study looks at how business aviation crewmembers handled their most recent incident.  Technical skills (whether piloting or flight attendant) were not discussed; this study linked behaviors with thoughts with actions.  Controlling overreactions and maintaining a perspective based in reality were essential elements.  These results are currently available only through an email request to Dr. Shari.

Although these articles, presentations, white paper and discussions are geared toward aviation, other industry leaders have found the information applicable, easy to immediately implement and valuable.
